Abstract

This survey reviews Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Blockchain hybrid approaches for enhancing data security in smart post-modern cloud-driven power grids (CPGs). Leveraging simulated publication and industrial data (2015–2025), it illustrates research gaps, classifies grid architectures, identifies synergistic topologies, and assesses key security indicators. The findings reinforce the viability of AI-blockchain synergy for achieving multi-layered defenses, integrity auditing, and adaptive cyber resilience. All data points are simulated to represent realistic trends.
